Motivation to Teach: A Mixed Method Study

The present study aimed to investigate the motivation teach of teachers and determine factors that affect teach. Convergent parallel mixed design was used in study. sample included 157 who were selected with convenience sampling method. A data collection instrument consisted three sections collect data. In first part instrument, questions about personal variables school stakeholders (administrator, colleague, student parents) are included. second part, "Teaching Motivation Scale" developed by Kauffman, Yılmaz-Soylu Duke (2011) adapted into Turkish Ayık, Ataş-Akdemir Seçer (2015) takes place. third there two open-ended created researcher. Descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, Mann-Whitney U test, one-way analysis variance, content analyze study, it observed quantitative qualitative findings generally consistent.
